Pakistan team players disappointed after defeat by India Photo: AFP
Teams like Australia won just one of the first three matches. Reigning champions England have also lost two of their three matches. Sri Lanka have played three matches and have not seen the face of victory till now. Considering that, Pakistan's start has been good, they have won two of the first three matches. But after that one loss against India, criticism of Babar Azam-Mohammed Rizwan has started from Pakistan and outside Pakistan. Former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly also joined that criticism. Saurabh criticized Babar-Rizwan's batting and mentality in a conversation with Indian media Times Now. At the same time, he commented, it will be difficult for Pakistan to turn around in this World Cup.
Pakistan's batting suddenly collapses like a house of cards against India: AFP
Why is Saurabh talking like this even though Pakistan is currently fourth in the points list after winning two of the three matches? There is only one reason - Sourav did not like Pakistan's batting line-up collapsing like a house of cards despite a good start against India. At one point in the match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Pakistan were 155 for 2 against India. After losing the last 8 wickets for 36 runs, Pakistan were all out for 191 runs. After such collapse they lost the match by 7 wickets.

Sourav believes that Pakistan's batsmen have broken down like this because of the mental pressure on Indian soil. The former head of the Indian Cricket Board also commented that he had never seen the Pakistan team collapse under such pressure in his playing career. He said, 'Pakistan was a different team in our time. We are not used to playing with such (current team) Pakistan team. This team cannot handle pressure while batting. With such batting, it will be difficult for Pakistan to turn around in this World Cup.
